Chris Webster

Chris Webster has played significant leadership roles in a range of successful ventures, including Sotheby’s International Realty brokerage and brand enhancement in the US and abroad culminating in the sale of Christopher Webster Real Estate to Sotheby’s Holdings in 1998, its first-ever acquisition of an affiliate firm; the founding in 1982, and subsequent sale in 2002, of Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company to Reynolds Tobacco (RJR); participation starting in 1984 as an exclusive invited member of The Estates Network and the 2015 purchase and assumption of the role as CEO and Publisher of Leading Estates of the World; as well as the brokerage and collection of important historic and contemporary art, to name but a few.  Chris manages his family’s diverse business and philanthropic initiatives through Santa Fe, New Mexico-based WEBSTER ENTERPRISES, founded on the west side of the historic Plaza in 1972. Chris is a graduate of The Episcopal High School in Virginia and Duke University in North Carolina where he received his bachelor’s degree in History.
